The Ram Mandir is a Hindu sanctuary in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.

the site believed to be the birth place of lord Rama 

 Ram is a significant divinity in Hinduism. 

He is the seventh and one of the most famous avatar of lord Vishnu

According to the Indian ideology Rama was born in Ajodhya  so "Ramkot temple", believed to be the fortress of Rama and the Bedi, where at birth place of ram where stuated.

In 1528, a Muslim invader  Babur a king of Mughal emperor, destroyed the temple and made babri mosque

 The principal example  of strict savagery was recorded in1853 December 1858, the English organization denied Hindus from directing puja (ceremonies) at the challenged site

The murtis (transl. sacrosanct pictures) of Rama and Sita were introduced inside the Babri Masjid the evening of 22-23 December 1949 and the aficionados started to accumulate from the following day the challenged site

On 6 December 1992, the VHP and the Bharatiya Janata Party coordinated a meeting at the site including 150,000 workers, known as karsevaks.

The meeting turned brutal, the group overpowered the security powers and destroyed the mosque

The demolition of the mosque resulted in several months of inter-communal violence between India's Hindu and Muslim communities,

The Ram Mandir property dispute first went to court in 1949.

In 1950, Gopal Singh Visharad recorded a title suit with the Allahabad High Court. The suit looked for a directive to permit love at the contested site

Two archeological unearthings in 1978 and 2003 led by the Archeological Overview of India (ASI) 

found proof demonstrating that the Hindu sanctuary's remaining parts existed on the site. by Prehistorian K. K. Muhammed

In Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya dispute in 2019, it was decided that the disputed land would be handed over to a trust formed by the Government of India for the construction of a Ram temple.
